Not only are you treated to spectacular scenery, but you will see bottlenosed dolphins, sealions and other marine life in their natural habitats.
- Skippers Canyon - For a bit of excitement the trip along Skippers Canyon is a never to be forgotten experience. This narrow road takes you into the Canyon and brings the goldrush of the 1800’s alive. You may get to try your hand at gold panning...depending on the tour you choose.
- Walter Peak Station - Taking the historic TSS Earnslaw steam boat across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak Station is another special attraction. This is still a working sheep station and a fascinating look at life on a remote hill country farm. You can do a farm tour, go on a horse riding trek, enjoy a BBQ lunch or dine in the colonial farmstead at night....that sounds very romantic!
- Heliskiing - Queenstown is a popular ski destination in winter, with heliskiing for some truly spectacular sights few get to experience!
